On requestAI Role Play
Learners rehearse sales, customer or management conversations by chatting with an AI-played character; AI suggests a rubric-based evaluation and the instructor approves it. Available on request.
Overview
A safe rehearsal before the real conversation
A difficult customer conversation, handling objections or giving feedback is best learned through practice. In the AI role play module, the instructor writes the scenario: the character the AI will play, the learner's role, the goals and the evaluation rubric. The learner rehearses the conversation by chatting with the character before facing a real customer; when the session ends, the AI evaluates the conversation against the rubric and makes a suggestion, and the instructor makes the final call. The module is enabled for your organization on request and works together with the AI features and the rubrics module; schedule a call to talk through your scenarios.
- Mistakes cost nothing Learners can try the same scenario again before facing a real customer.
- Measurable practice Every session is evaluated with a rubric; learners see which criteria they are improving on.
- The instructor has the final say The AI evaluation is a suggestion; the instructor approves or changes it.
- Practice as part of the training Link a scenario to a course to place the rehearsal inside the training flow.

Help centerHow do we start using AI role play?
The module is enabled for your organization on request. It works together with the AI features (in paid plans) and the rubrics module; schedule a call, and once it is enabled you write your first scenario.
Is role play spoken or written?
It is written: the learner talks to the character in text. There is no voice conversation.
Does the AI give the score?
The AI makes a suggestion based on the rubric; the valid evaluation is the result the instructor approves or changes. The score is not written to the gradebook.
