Overview
Your videos, for authorized learners only
Two things matter in video-heavy training: smooth playback on every device, and viewing limited to authorized people. UZEM serves videos through a dedicated video delivery infrastructure rather than the application server. Playback links are short-lived and signed, so someone who is not enrolled in the course cannot use a link elsewhere. If your organization turns it on, a per-learner watermark appears on the player. Real watch time is recorded, and a lesson is completed once 90% of the video has been watched. The account sharing report and the single-session rule your organization chooses (off, warn or end the old session) make it visible when one account is used by several people.
- Your content is protected Playback permission is checked on every request; a video link cannot be shared and used outside.
- Smooth viewing Videos are streamed: playback starts without downloading the whole file, and learners can choose the playback speed.
- Real viewing data How much of a video each learner watched is recorded; a lesson is completed at 90% viewed, not by simply opening and closing it.
- No server load Videos do not pass through the application server, so the academy does not slow down at peak viewing times.
What can you do?
-
Direct video upload
Upload videos from the admin panel; once processing finishes, the lesson is ready to publish.
-
Signed playback links
A short-lived, user-specific link is generated for each playback.
-
Per-learner watermark
If your organization turns it on, the viewer's name, masked email and a timestamp appear on the player and move around.
-
Viewing progress and 90% threshold
Real watch time is recorded and learners resume where they left off; a lesson is completed at 90% viewed.
-
Single session and account sharing report
Your organization chooses the single-session rule; the account sharing report lists accounts used from different devices and cities.
-
Video viewing and traffic reports
Track how much each lesson was watched and your video traffic in reports.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
If your answer isn't here, check the help center or write to us.
Help centerWhere are videos hosted?
Videos are hosted on and played from a secure infrastructure built for video delivery, separate from the application server.
Can video downloads be blocked completely?
Playback links are short-lived and user-specific, which makes unauthorized sharing much harder. Turning on the watermark discourages screen recording, but no web-based system can fully prevent methods such as screen recording.
When is a lesson considered complete?
A lesson is completed once 90% of the video has actually been watched; simply opening and closing the video is not enough.
Can learners resume a video where they left off?
Yes. Viewing progress is recorded so learners can pick up where they left off.
Is the single-session rule mandatory?
No. For learner accounts, your organization chooses one of the options: off, warn, or end the old session.
Solutions that use this feature
- Employee Training If training is scattered across emails, folders and class lists: gather all employee training in one corporate academy, assign it to people or units, and see who completed it in the report.
- Onboarding / Orientation Instead of explaining the same things to every new hire, schedule the first week: lessons unlock day by day, short quizzes confirm understanding, and managers follow the process.
- Partner / Dealer Training If your dealers and partners learn about product changes late and incompletely: use a separate academy that carries your brand to deliver knowledge to every location at once, at the same quality.
- Customer Training Cut down the “how do I use this” questions reaching your support team: open a branded training center that teaches customers your product with video lessons, short quizzes and certificates.
- Product Training If product knowledge is explained differently to every team: deliver the same content to sales, support, dealer and field teams at the same time, and verify it was learned with an exam.
- Member Training Offer seminars, courses and announcements to association, chamber and foundation members from one address; record attendance and completion, and open courses for a fee if you like.
- Student Training Bring lessons, assignments, exams and live classes together on a single student platform for schools, course centers and universities; see where every student stands in the progress report.
- Sales Team Training If it takes weeks for the field team to be ready when a new product launches: quickly update and measure your sales team’s knowledge with short video lessons, exams and a leaderboard.
- Mandatory / Compliance Training If you replan KVKK, information security, OHS and internal policy training every year: assign it, verify completion with an exam, and keep a record of who took which training in reports; due dates, daily reminders and validity periods on request.
- Live Training Management If Zoom links, attendance lists and recordings are scattered everywhere: schedule live sessions inside the course, record attendance automatically and add the session recording to the lesson.
- Launch an Online Academy Quickly launch an online academy under your own brand on a free UZEM subdomain, without setting up servers, a software team or a separate payment system; connect your own domain on paid plans.
- Branch / Unit-Based Training Bring your branch, store, region and department structure into the academy: assign training to a unit, enroll newcomers automatically, and let each manager see only their own unit’s status.
- Continuing Professional Development Help professionals stay current throughout their careers by gathering seminars, courses and certificate programs in one development academy, with attendance history kept on each person’s record.
