From compliance training to product knowledge, measured in every branch
At a bank, training is not only about development; internal control and audits ask who took which training and when. With UZEM, assign compliance and product training from head office to regions and branches, measure it with exams generated from the question bank, and keep results ready by unit.

Overview
Why is the training record as important as the training itself at a bank?
In banking, compliance, product and operations training is repeated regularly, and internal control and audits ask who took which training and when. Because branches, the call center and head office departments work at different paces, collecting proof of completion at period end is tedious. In UZEM you assign training to units, measure it with exams generated from the question bank and keep results exportable by unit; the regulatory compliance of the content remains your organization's responsibility.
- Mandatory training by unit Assign compliance awareness to Head Office and investment products training only to the relevant department. With the mandatory training module, available on request, you also set due dates, daily reminders and validity periods.
- A different exam on every attempt Questions selected from the question bank and shuffled make it harder for answers to circulate between branches.
- Controlled result release Release exam results immediately, on a set date or manually, and choose whether to show the correct answers.
- Lists ready for internal control Completion dates, scores and certificate details are prepared in the background as a CSV, Excel or PDF file by unit.
- Read-only view for managers Branch and regional managers monitor only their own units and cannot access the question bank.
- Revocable certificates A revoked internal certificate appears as invalid on the QR verification page.
- Live sessions for policy A new credit policy is explained to branch managers over Zoom; if Zoom cloud recording is on, the recording is added inside the training.
Industry challenges and solutions
Problem
Proof of completion for periodic compliance training is collected from branches by email at period end.
Solution
Completion date, exam score and certificate details are recorded for every employee, listed by unit and downloaded as a CSV, Excel or PDF file prepared in the background.
Problem
The same compliance exam is repeated with the same questions every year, and answers circulate between branches.
Solution
Questions are grouped by topic in the question bank; each attempt selects a set number from the pool and shuffles questions and options.
Problem
A new product or procedure change reaches branches on different days.
Solution
The product lesson is updated, an announcement is pinned and a notification reaches every branch team at the same time.
Problem
Branch managers have to request reports from head office to see their team's status.
Solution
As unit managers, branch and regional managers see only their own units' data, read-only.
Problem
New branch staff take a long time to learn how things work.
Solution
Branch orientation is assigned to branches; new staff are enrolled in the program the day they are added to their branch.
Problem
Teams hesitate to use real customer information in training examples.
Solution
The academy holds only staff training data; you build cases and exam questions with anonymous scenarios.
Who uses it?
Branch operations officer
Learns account opening, know-your-customer steps and transaction checkpoints through standard lessons, and sees a changed procedure the same day.
Retail and SME portfolio manager
Learns the features of deposit, loan and card products and the rules for explaining them clearly to customers, then passes the product exam.
Credit underwriting and risk specialist
Follows credit assessment processes, risk concepts and internal policy updates.
Compliance and internal control team
Prepares the compliance awareness program content, manages the question pool and monitors completion and exam results across all units.
Call center representative
Learns identity verification steps, complaint handling and how to protect customer information over the phone.
Branch and regional manager
Monitors the mandatory training status of their branch or region in read-only reports and closes gaps before the deadline.
Use cases
- Annual compliance awareness period Assign anti-money laundering, ethics and information security training to all units and track it by unit until the deadline.
- Product training and internal certificates Introduce a new card, deposit or loan product to branches with a short program ending in an exam, and give those who pass an internal certificate with QR verification.
- Branch orientation Assign branch operations, checkpoints and customer experience standards to new staff from day one.
- Call center starter program Assign a program covering identity verification, complaint handling and communication style to the Call Center unit.
- Live briefings on policy changes Explain a new credit policy to branch managers live over Zoom; if Zoom cloud recording is on, the recording is added inside the same training.

Head office, regions, branches and central departments
Under Head Office sit regional directorates and branches, alongside the Branch Operations, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Internal Control, Call Center and Treasury and Investment departments. When you assign compliance awareness to Head Office, everyone is covered; retail product training goes only to regions and branches, and investment products training only to Treasury and Investment.
Sample structure: Head Office → Sample Regional Directorate (Sample Branch 1, Sample Branch 2) / Branch Operations / Credit / Risk / Compliance / Internal Control / Call Center / Treasury and Investment

- Those who complete receive a certificate verifiable by QR code; the template comes ready.
- You open assignments for hands-on work and grade the submissions.
The list is ready when internal control asks

Regional and branch managers monitor only their own units; you can filter central departments and branches separately. If a certificate is revoked, it appears as invalid on the verification page.
- Compliance program course tracking reportShows each unit's progress in the Compliance Awareness program; share a branch that is falling behind with its regional manager before the deadline.
- MASAK and KVKK exam resultsLists scores on MASAK and KVKK tests with unit and department filters; exported as CSV, Excel or PDF for the internal control file.
- Product training certificate reportShows portfolio managers who completed product training and received an internal certificate, so you can check readiness before a new product is offered in branches.
- Sign-in records reportLists staff sign-in dates to the academy, providing an additional trail of which staff account completed the training.
- Live session instructor hoursShows instructor time spent on live sessions such as policy briefings, helping plan the central training team's workload.
Your finance academy opens with this structure: Under Head Office, a sample regional directorate with two sample branches and the Branch Operations, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Internal Control, Call Center and Treasury and Investment departments come ready. Compliance, KVKK, MASAK, Product, Risk, Operations and Customer Experience categories are defined. Compliance Awareness, KVKK and Protecting Customer Information, and Product Knowledge - Retail Banking are added as drafts; adapt them to your policies and publish.

Solutions for this industry
- Mandatory / Compliance Training If you replan KVKK, information security, OHS and internal policy training every year: assign it, verify completion with an exam, and keep a record of who took which training in reports; due dates, daily reminders and validity periods on request.
- Branch / Unit-Based Training Bring your branch, store, region and department structure into the academy: assign training to a unit, enroll newcomers automatically, and let each manager see only their own unit’s status.
- Product Training If product knowledge is explained differently to every team: deliver the same content to sales, support, dealer and field teams at the same time, and verify it was learned with an exam.
- Employee Training If training is scattered across emails, folders and class lists: gather all employee training in one corporate academy, assign it to people or units, and see who completed it in the report.
- Certificate Programs Combine training, exams and certification in one flow: you set the success criteria, the certificate is generated automatically, and third parties verify its authenticity with a QR code.
- Continuing Professional Development Help professionals stay current throughout their careers by gathering seminars, courses and certificate programs in one development academy, with attendance history kept on each person’s record.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
If your answer isn't here, check the help center or write to us.
Help centerDoes using UZEM automatically meet regulators' training expectations?
No. UZEM is an infrastructure for publishing, measuring and recording training. The regulatory compliance and adequacy of the content are your organization's responsibility.
Does a UZEM certificate replace professional credentials such as a Capital Markets Board (SPK) license?
No. A certificate from your academy shows that an employee completed internal training. Professional licenses and official documents are issued by authorized bodies.
Does customer data enter the academy?
The academy holds only staff training data. We recommend using anonymous examples instead of real customer information in training and exams.
Can a branch manager see exam questions?
No. A unit manager sees only their own unit's progress and results, read-only; the question bank stays with academy admins.
How do staff sign in to the academy?
Each employee signs in with their own email address and password; if corporate sign-in (SSO) is enabled on request, they can also sign in with their Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace account. When you deactivate departing staff, they no longer use a license, and their training records are retained.
Can exam results be kept hidden until they are released?
Yes. You can release results immediately, on a set date or manually, and choose whether to show the correct answers.
How do we move our existing compliance training and question pool?
Upload training videos from the dashboard and attach policy and procedure documents to the relevant training as PDFs or files. Enter your compliance and product questions into the question bank grouped by topic; there is no bulk import of questions from a file. You can import the staff list and branch-department structure via CSV; ready-made course packages cannot be imported.
How do we choose a plan for branch and head office staff?
Plans are tiered by active user capacity; deactivated staff, instructors and admins do not use a license. You can compare current plans on the Pricing page and request a custom quote if you have a large workforce.
Is there a connection to the bank's core systems or HR software?
We do not offer a ready-made connection to core banking systems or human resources software; you import the staff list via CSV. If you want staff to sign in with their bank account, corporate sign-in (SSO) via OIDC with Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace and SCIM 2.0 account sync are set up on request with your bank's own identity provider after a conversation with our team. SAML and LDAP are not supported. Live briefings can run on Zoom, and bulk SMS through a Netgsm or Mutlucell connection.
